Disney World

Disney World is located in Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, Florida, in the United States, near the cities Orlando and Kissimmee. Walt Disney was the founder — along with his older brother Roy O. Disney (co-founder) of the Disney Brothers Studio.

Walt Elias Disney was born on December 5th in Chicago Illinois. He was an American entrepreneur, animator, voice actor and film producer. Disney was a shy, self-deprecating and insecure man in private but adopted a warm and outgoing public persona. As a film producer, Disney holds the record for most Academy Awards earned by an individual, having won 22 Oscars from 59 nominations. Walt was presented with two Golden Globe Special Achievement Awards and an Emmy Award.

He had an interest in drawing in his youth. He took art classes as a boy and when he was 18 years of age, he got a job as a commercial illustrator. He later moved to California in the early 1920s where he would set up the Disney Brothers Studio with his older brother Roy (June 24, 1893 — December 20, 1971). Walt Disney was a heavy smoker throughout his life and would die of lung cancer in December 15th, 1966 at age 65.
