What Kind Of Tanning Studio Are You Looking For?

So you were walking down the high street the other day and you saw a tanning studio. Maybe you thought about going in? Maybe you pictured yourself with a tan and decided it would be a great look for you?

Here in the UK, where the sunny months come and go in a flash and most of the year is dreary and grey, tanning studios are a popular way to get that beautiful bronzed look. But with so many tanning studios available, how do you know which one is right for you?

The first question you have to ask yourself is exactly what kind of tanning studio you’re looking to use. On the one hand, you could use traditional UV tanning, which tends to have a better result but can cause skin and eye damage in the long run. Alternatively, you can use spray tans which look less realistic but have a milder effect on the skin.

As a rule, your decision should probably come down to how often you planning on going to the tanning studio. If you only want to go once or twice a year then a UV bed is likely your best option, but if you want that tanned look all year round then you’ll want to start looking for a good spray tan studio. Of course, spray tans can vary a lot more in quality so you’ll need to be extra sure of the results before you go.

So how do you find out if a tanning studio has good results?

In the modern age, it’s easier than ever to find out if a business is worth your money. Most tanning studios will have reviews on google and a quick glance will tell you a lot about average customer satisfaction.

It’s also good to ask around. Check with your friends to see if any of them have used the same place. Consider posting in local Facebook groups. At the end of the day, reputation and word of mouth can tell you a lot about the quality of a business.

Last, but certainly not least, ask the staff. While no business is going to sell itself short, you can learn a lot by talking to staff and seeing what kind of service you get. Ultimately, a reputable business with good service is far more likely to care about its outcomes than one that tries to push people through as fast as possible.
