AN UNEXPECTED GIFT
I went for a walk to the beach this evening. As I left my garden, I met with two beautiful little angels. Two young girls with a small jotter, looking for “Interesting things” to note in their jotter. They were about 5 years of age, and were practicing writing.
I told them I had something “Interesting” I could show them. With excitement we walked down the country lane, till they could look back at my garden from a particular angle. I drew their attention to a tall winged sculpture my husband had made and placed in the garden. “WOW !!! … what is it?” they asked…. “it’s an Angel” I told them. The angels wings swayed in the summer evening breeze, as they took it all in. “Thank you for showing us” they said as they wrote down their encounter in their jotter.
We parted ways and I continued on to the beach.
On my way home, about an hour later, I met with them again. As I stood chatting with a neighbour, they came over and presented me with this hydrangea blossom. It was my turn to say “WOW … Thank YOU”
“Thank you for showing us your Angel” they said and gave me this beautiful blossom. I brought it home and lit a candle to sit with it.
Imagine meeting two angels by chance, introducing them to another Angel and ending up with the most beautiful gift, which keeps giving, radiating love and beauty into our home from the kitchen table.
Life is full of wondrous surprises !
