Pence and Trump Were Both Campaigning In Arizona

But for different candidates

Vice President Mike Pence remained a loyal ally of Trump during the four years they spent together working at the White House. It appears that they are not close since the January 6 insurrection at the United States Capitol. Pence was doing his duty in Congress to certify the election of Joe Biden as the next President.

Pence and Trump are both considered possible candidates for the Republican Primary for President in 2024.

Trump went to Arizona the day after the last hearing of the January 6 Committee before they recessed. He was not happy about what transpired at that hearing although some Republican leaders proclaim that not many Republicans are even watching any of the hearings.

Liz Cheney stated at the hearing that they were hearing testimony from Republicans who had inside knowledge about Trump and the election fraud charges he was making.
