How to write from the heart

Just the other night, an idea for a book came to me. It was so powerful that I ended up crying joyful tears just before falling asleep.

Do you know the feeling when an idea sparks inside your heart?

I felt like a powerful lightning bolt hit me right in the soul.

When these beautiful ideas come, it is best to nurture them. Walk around with the idea, let it sing within your heart.

I had talked about other ideas for books.

Those came from my head and not my heart. They did not spark deep in my spirit as this idea did.

I know my purpose is to spread light and the way I do that is through writing.

I want to share three ideas for writing from your heart.

When I get a writing idea, I take it outside for a walk. I am very connected to my body, so it helps me move around to get closer to the concept.

Being in nature is not the same as a gym workout. I like both, but I gain more clarity when I commune with my garden.

When you create a mind-body connection, your ideas will flourish.

I ponder the idea while touching the leaves of the plants, smelling the flowers, or picking up sticks from the ground.

All the while, my spirit brings more clarity to my idea.

In my mind, I see pictures of the words on the page as I walk.
